ABOUT HIVE SHOWROOM

The Hive Showroom is the commercial platform of Unisource Data Services Inc. (d/b/a The Hive Showroom), a fashion and marketing company founded in 1990 by Stefano Larese.
For more than three decades, The Hive has specialized in strategic brand development, wholesale distribution, and market-data support for European fashion labels seeking long-term representation in North and Central America.

Operating from New York City, The Hive connects designer brands with leading retailers across department stores, specialty boutiques, and e-commerce channels. Services include merchandising, brand and marketing strategy, visual/press & social support, and full operational coordination from sales planning through logistics.

Julia Larese  joined the company in 2000 after a ten-year tenure with Max Mara, where she served as VP Wholesale Sales & Retail, working across both international and North American markets. She co-leads brand and retail development, aligning European craftsmanship with the evolving North American consumer.

Unisource provides the distribution backbone: compliant import operations (including CETA, U.S. Fish & Wildlife permits where required, and other applicable import licenses), three warehouses with FIFO pick/pack, and an experienced logistics, AR/AP team to ensure precision, transparency, and seamless door-to-door service.

Internship Program

The Hive Showroom offers internships seasonally.

Trade Show preparation and support. Administrative responsibilities which include but not limited to: order input, shipping, filing, sample and press kit organization. Assistance with social media channels. Showroom visual merchandising. Assist sales team with organization of showroom and buyer appointments. Brand/Store research, fashion week coordination.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to gain practical and real working experience in the fashion industry. Candidate should be able to commit to 3 days per week.

Internship Time Frame:

Spring Internship: Beginning of January to end of May
Summer Internship: Beginning of June to beginning of September
Fall Internship: Beginning of September to mid-December
